Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission invites online applications from eligible candidates for the direct recruitment of Horticulture Development Officer.

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must possess an M.Sc. Horticulture/ Agriculture in any one of the disciplines/ subjects.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 45 years as on 01-01-2025. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Screening Test and Descriptive Subject Aptitude Test followed by the Personality Test.

Examination Stations/ Cities: Shimla

Pay Scale: Rs. 10,300 - 34,800

Application Fee: Rs. 600/- for General/ EWS, Wards of Freedom Fighters categories/ Home Guard of HP/ Candidate of Other States
Rs. 150/- for SC/ ST/ OBC and Freedom Fighter (WFF), Wards of SC/ ST/ OBC Ex-Servicemen i.e. Dependents sons, EWS covered under UR–BPL categories of Himachal Pradesh.
Female and Ex-Servicemen male candidates of Himachal Pradesh are exempted from payment of this application fee.
Candidates are suggested to pay the application fee online.
