Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must possess a good academic record with at least 55% marks or an equivalent of 55%, wherever the grading system is followed in Masters Degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from Foreign University recognized by the Government of India.
And
A relaxation of 5% is provided (from 55% to 50% marks) at the Masters Degree for the SC/ST/OBC (Non creamy layer) categories
And
Candidate besides fulfilling the above qualifications should have cleared the eligibility test (NET) for Assistant Professor conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the H.P. Public Service Commission.
And
NET/SLET shall remain the minimum eligibility condition for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor in Universities/ Colleges/ Institutions.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 45 years as on 01-01-2026. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of two stages of paper:

Paper-I: Computer-Based Test (CBT) or Offline Screening Test total of 100 marks

Paper-I: Subject Aptitude Test (SAT), total of 120 marks

Candidates shortlisted in Paper II will be called for Document Verification, followed by the Personality Test.

Emoluments: Rs.35,000 Per month

Application Fee: Rs.600/-
