Himachal Pradesh High Court Recruitment 2026: 19 Clerk Proof Reader Vacancies

The High Court of Himachal Pradesh invites online applications from eligible candidates for the direct recruitment of various posts on the Establishment of HP High Court as per "The Himachal Pradesh High Court Officers and the Members of Staff (Recruitment, Promotion, Conditions of Service, Conduct & Appeal) Rules, 2015.

Eligibility Criteria:

Stenographer Posts: Candidates must possess a Graduation Degree with three (3) years' experience as Steno-typist or Judgment Writer or Stenographer in any government office or reputed organisation.
And
Candidates must be having speed of 100 W.P.M., in English Stenography and accurate transcription of the matter dictated within a period of 5 times to the time allotted for dictation and typing speed, in English, at 50 W.P.M., on computers, wherefor a separate test shall be held.

Clerk/ Proof Reader Posts: Candidates must possess a Graduation Degree from a recognized University.
And
Screening Test, Written & Typing Test and DV as per R&P Rules, 2015.

Driver Posts: Candidates must have passed the Matriculation from a recognised board.
And
The candidates must possess a valid Driving Licence to drive the Light Motor Vehicles (LMV) or Medium or Heavy Vehicles with driving experience of at least three (3) years.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 50 years as on 01-01-26. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Preliminary Examination (CBT Objective Type), Main (Descriptive) Examination, English Typing Test followed by the Personal Interview.

Pay Scale: Pay Level 11 for Stenographer Posts
Pay Level 03 for Clerk/ Proof Reader Posts
Pay Level 05 for Driver Posts

Application Fee: Rs.450 for Unreserved categories candidates.
Rs. 300/- for SC/ ST/ OBC/ EWS candidates.
