High Court of Himachal Pradesh, Shimla invites online applications from eligible candidates for filling up clearcut/ anticipated future vacancies of the following posts on the Establishment of District Judiciary in the State of HP as per "The Himachal Pradesh District Judiciary Staff (Recruitment, Promotion, Control, Conduct, Discipline and Other Conditions of Service) Rules, 2022” (R&P Rules, 2022).

Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must have fulfilled the minimum eligibility criteria as required educational and professional qualification, experiences if any, and other important guidelines as suggested in the official advertisement to be eligible for consideration for said post.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 45 years as on 01-01-24. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process:
Clerk Post: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Screening tests, Written Tests, and Typing Tests followed by Document Verification (DV) as per R&P Rules, 2022.

Stenographer Post: Candidates must have a speed of 80 W.P.M. in English Stenography and the test will be conducted on computer software.

Driver Post: Candidates will be selected on the basis of a Screening Test, Proficiency Test of driving, and Document Verification as per R&P Rules, 2022.

Peon/ Orderly/ Chowkidar/ Safai Karamchari/ Chowkidar-cum-safai Karamchari Post: The candidates will be shortlisted in the ratio of 1:3 for Evaluation/ Document Verification, on the basis of marks obtained in 10+2.

The final merit list shall be drawn on the basis of marks obtained in the educational qualification and evaluation.

Scale of Pay: Pay Level 03 for Clerk Post
Pay Level 06 for Stenographer Post
Pay Level 05 for Driver Post
Pay Level 01 for Peon/ Orderly/ Chowkidar/ Safai Karamchari/ Chowkidar-cum-safai Karamchari Post

Exam Fee: Rs.347.92/- for Unreserved categories candidates.
Rs.197.92/- for SC/ ST/ OBC/ EWS/ PH categories candidates.
