Job Description :

The government of Assam, Office of the Director of Elementary Education, Assam invites online applications from who are qualified in Assam Teacher Eligibility Test (ATET)/ Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), for filling up vacancies of Assistant Teacher of LP Schools under the Directorate of Elementary Education, Assam.

Commencement of Online Application: 15-02-2025
Last Date of Online Application: 31-03-2025

Name of the Post and Number of Vacancies:

Assistant Teacher: 2900 Vacancies

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must have passed Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks
And
2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
And
Assam TET or Central TET for Lower Primary

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 40 years as on 01-01-2025. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on the order of merit list.

Pay Scale: Rs.14,000/- to Rs.70,000/-
