Job Description :

East Coast Railway invites online applications from eligible candidates of Bharat Scouts & Guides for recruitment of Scouts & Guides Quota in East Coast Railway for the year 2024-25.

Name of the Post and Number of Vacancies: 08 Vacancies

Group-C Level-2: 02 Vacancies
Erstwhile Gr.D Level-1: 06 Vacancies

Eligibility Criteria:

(GP ₹ 1900/-) Level-2: 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate. (50% marks in the aggregate will be required for NTPC categories. 50% marks are not required for SC/ST/Ex-servicemen candidates and candidates possessing higher qualifications like Graduation/ Post Graduation.)
OR
A pass in Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized Board and having ITI certificate for the posts in Technical Categories.

(GP ₹ 1800/-) Level-1: 10th standard or ITI or equivalent from a recognized Board.
OR
National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.
For the post in Civil Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Signal & Telecom Department and Catering Wing of Railways the minimum qualification is 10th pass plus National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT or 10th pass plus ITI.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 30 (33 years for Level-1 post) years as on 01-07-2025. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of a Written Test. The merit list of the Written Test shall be a criterion for short listing of the candidates for document verification (DV).

Application Fee: Rs. 250/- for SC/ ST, Ex-Servicemen, PWDs, Women, Minorities, and Economic Backward Classes.
Rs. 500/- for all other category candidates.
Candidates are suggested to pay the application fee through online mode.
