East Central Railway Sports Quota Recruitment 2024-25: 56 Vacancies

East Central Railway invites online applications from eligible candidates for the direct recruitment of Sports Persons for filling up 56 Posts in all the 5-Divisions i.e. Dhanbad, Danapur, DDU, Sonpur, and Samastipur following disciplines in Sports Quota (Open Advertisement) for the year 2024-25 over East Central Railway.

Eligibility Criteria:
For the post of Pay Level 4/5: Candidates must possess a Graduation in any Discipline from a recognized University. 
For the post of Pay Level 2/3: Candidates must have passed l2th (+2 stage) or its Equivalent Examination OR Passed Matriculation plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship OR Passed Matriculation plus ITI approved by NCVT/SCVT OR Passed 10th from a recognized Board may also eligible to be posted as Tech-III.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 25 years as on 01-01-2025. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable per government rules.

Selection Process: Candidates are selected on the basis of document verification, performance in Sports Trials, and assessment of sports achievement and educational qualification, etc. Selection will be conducted by North Western Railway, Headquarter, Jaipur for vacancies of Head Quarter Quota and by respective Division/ Workshop for vacancies of Divisions/Workshop Quota.

Pay Scale: Basic Pay of Rs. 25500 - 29200 for Level 4/5
Basic Pay of Rs. 19000 - 21700 for Level 2/3
Basic Pay of  Rs.18000 for Level 1

Examination Fee: Rs. 250 for SC/ ST/ Women/ Minorities and Economically Backward Classes category candidates, and Rs. 500/- for other candidates.
