  DRDO Defence Institute of Bio-defence Technologies (DIBT), under the aegis of Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO), Ministry of Defence, the government of India has a charter of duties to develop detection technologies for food-borne pathogens and toxins of Biodefence importance as well as R&D on Military Nutrition.

  Defence Institute of Bio-defence Technologies (DIBT), invites applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of Junior Research Fellows post.

  Name of the Post and Number of Vacancies:

  Junior Research Fellows: 18 Vacancies

  Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Food Science & Technology/ Food Technology/ Food Science/ Food Process Engineering: 15 Vacancies
  Polymer Science & Technology/ Mechanical Engineering: 03 Vacancies

  Important Dates:
  Commencement Date of Online Application: 17-02-2025
  Last Date of Online Application: 20-03-2025

  Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must possess a B.Tech/ B.E, M.E/ M.Tech graduate degree.

  Age Limit: Candidates must not have crossed the maximum age of 28 years as on the date of interview. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

  Selection Process: The candidates will be selected on the basis of a written test followed by an interview at Defence Institute of Bio-Defence Technologies, Mysuru.

  Stipend: Rs.37,000/- per month
