Job Description :

Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL), a listed premier Miniratna Schedule ‘A’ Company of the Government of India, invites online applications from eligible candidates for Workmen posts on a contract basis for CSL.

Name of the Post and Number of Vacancies: 71 Vacancies

Scaffolder: 21 Vacancies
Semi Skilled Rigger: 50 Vacancies

Eligibility Criteria:
Scaffolder Posts: The candidate must have a Pass in 10th Std and candidates must have a Minimum of three years of experience in general structural/ scaffolding works.

Semi-Skilled Rigger Posts: The candidate must have a Pass in 4th Std and candidates must have a Minimum of three years experience in rigging of which two years in the rigging of heavy-duty machine parts, assisting in the erection of machinery/ equipment, etc.
Desirable: Good knowledge of splicing work of wire ropes.

Age Limit: Candidates must not have crossed the maximum age of 30 years as on 29-11-2024. Applicants should be born on or after 30-11-1994. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of a Practical Test of 100 Marks for Semi Skilled Rigger posts
Practical Test of 80 marks and Physical Test of 20 marks for Scaffolder posts.

Pay Scale: 1st year Rs.22100/-
2nd-year Rs.22800/-
3rd-year Rs.23400/-

Application Fee: Rs. 200/-
Candidates belonging to SC/ ST categories are exempted from payment of the application fee.
