Job Description :

CSIR-National Institute of Oceanography, Goa is a premier institute functioning under the aegis of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), an autonomous body functioning under the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India.

CSIR-National Institute of Oceanography (CSIR-NIO), invites online applications from eligible candidates for the engagement as Apprentice Trainees under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961.

Technician Apprenticeship (Diploma): 03 Positions
Graduate Apprenticeship (Non-engineering Degree): 11 Positions

Eligibility Criteria:

Technician Apprentices: Candidates must possess Diploma Degree in a relevant engineering discipline.

Graduate Apprentices: Candidates must possess a Graduate Degree in a relevant discipline.

Upper Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 24 years (26 years for Graduate Apprentices) as on 22-01-2026. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Interview.

Stipend: Rs.8,000/- per month for Technician Apprentices
Rs.9,000/- per month for Graduate Apprentices
