    Job Description :

    CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Biology, Kolkata, a premier Institute under the aegis of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), is involved in generating cutting edge knowledge and trained human resources in the field of chemical biology, biochemistry, cell biology, genomics, epigenomics, structural biology, bioinformatics, and medicinal chemistry to address fundamental and applied biological and biomedical research questions associated with infectious and non-infectious diseases that are relevant to this country and in the global context.

    CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Biology, invites online applications from eligible candidates for the direct recruitment of Multi-Tasking Staff posts.

    Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have passed 10th/matriculation or its equivalent examination from a recognised board.

    Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 25 years as on 04-04-2026. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

    Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of a Competitive Written Examination. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the performance of the candidates in the competitive written examination.

    Mode of Examination: Computer Based Objective Type Multiple Choice Examination

    Medium of Questions: The questions will be set both in English and Hindi except the questions on English language

    Standard of Exam: Class Xth (Matriculation)

    Subjects: General Intelligence, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Language

    Total No. of Questions: 150

    Total time allotted: 2 hours

    Pay Scale: Pay Level 01

    Application Fee: Rs. 500/-
    Women/ SC/ ST/ PwBD/ Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted from the submission of the application fee.
