CSIR-Central Road Research Institute, New Delhi (CSIR-CRRI) is a premier research laboratory under the aegis of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), which is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India.

Eligibility Criteria:

Junior Secretariat Assistant Posts: Candidates must have passed 10+2/ XII or its equivalent and proficiency in computer type speed and in using computer as per the prescribed norms fixed by DOPT from time to time.

Junior Stenographer Posts: Candidates must have passed 10+2/ XII or its equivalent and be proficient in stenography as per the prescribed norms fixed by DOPT from time to time.

Upper Age Limit: Candidates must not have crossed the maximum age of 28 years for Junior Secretariat Assistant and 27 years for Junior Stenographer posts as on 21-04-2025. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process:

Junior Stenographer Posts: The selection will be made based on the merit list of the Competitive Written Examination and Proficiency Test in Stenography which is qualifying in nature.

Junior Secretariat Assistant Posts: The selection will be made based on the merit list of the Competitive Written Examination and Proficiency Test in computer typing which is qualifying in nature. The eligible shortlisted candidates will be called for the Competitive Written Examination.

Pay Scale: Pay Level 2 Rs.19900 - 63200 for Junior Secretariat Assistant Posts
Pay Level 4 Rs.25500 - 81100 for Junior Stenographer Posts

Application Fee: Rs. 500 for UR/ OBC/ NCL/ EWS category candidates
Candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ PwBD/ Women/ Ex-Servicemen are exempted from submission of application fee.
