CRPF Recruitment 2026: 9195 Constable (Technical & Tradesmen) Vacancies

The Central Reserve Police Force will conduct an open competitive examination for eligible candidates for the recruitment of Constable (Technical & Tradesmen and Pioneer) in the Central Reserve Police Force as per the Recruitment Scheme/Rules formulated by the Ministry of Home Affairs/CRPF.

Eligibility Criteria:

Driver Posts:

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed a minimum of Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board, or a university recognized by the Central or State Government.

Technical Qualification: Candidates should possess a Heavy Transport Vehicle Driving License and should pass the driving test at the time of
recruitment.

Mechanic Motor Vehicle Posts:

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed a minimum of Matriculation or 10th Class pass in the 10+2 examination system from a recognized board or equivalent.

Technical Qualification: Candidates must possess a 02-year Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) certificate in Mechanic Motor Vehicle recognized by the National or State Council for Vocational training or any other recognized institution, and one-year practical experience in the field of the concerned trade
OR
National or State apprenticeship certificate in the Mechanic Motor Vehicle trade of three-year duration from a recognized institution, and one-year practical experience in the field of the concerned Trade.

For all other Tradesmen Posts:

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed a minimum of Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board, or a university recognized by the Central or State Government or equivalent Army qualification in case of Ex-Army Personnel.

Technical Qualification: Candidates must be proficient and have worked in the respective trades.

Pioneer Wing (Mason/ Electrician) Posts:

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board.

Technical Qualification:
a) One-year experience in respective trades like Masonry or Electrician.
b) Preference will be given to those having a certificate of trade from a recognized Industrial Training Institute.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 21 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 27 years for Constable (Driver) posts.

Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 23 years for all other posts as on 01-01-2026. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standards Test (PST), Computer-Based Test, Trade Test, Document Verification and Medical Examination.

Final selection will be made on the basis of marks obtained in the Computer-Based Test (CBT).

Final result will be declared by the CRPF based on the performance of candidates in the Computer Based Test (CBT), subject to their qualifying the PET, PST, Trade/Skill Test, Document Verification (DV), Medical Examination, and other conditions stipulated in the Recruitment Notice.

Pay Scale: Pay level-03
