Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL), a Joint Venture of Government of India and Government of Tamil Nadu, is a special purpose vehicle (SPV) entrusted with the responsibility of implementing the Metro Rail Project in the city of Chennai.

General Manager: 01 Vacancy
Deputy General Manager: 03 Vacancies

Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must have fulfilled the minimum eligibility criteria as required educational and professional qualification, age limit experiences if any, and other important guidelines as suggested in the official advertisement to be eligible for consideration for said post.

Upper Age Limit: Candidates must not have crossed the maximum age of 55 years for General Manager, 40 years for Deputy General Manager, and 38 years for Manager posts as on 01-07-2026. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of an interview followed by a medical examination.

Scale of Pay: Rs.1,20,000 - 2,80,000 for General Manager Posts
Rs.80,000 - 2,20,000 for Deputy General Manager Posts
Rs.70,000 - 2,00,000 for Manager Posts

Application fee: Rs.300/- for General/ OBC/ EWS category candidates
Rs.50/- for SC/ ST category candidates
