Job Description :

Online applications are invited by the Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission from Indian citizens and candidates of categories recognized by the Government of India for recruitment to the vacant posts of Civil Judge (Junior Category) under the Law and Legislative Affairs Department of the Government of Chhattisgarh.

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must possess a Bachelor of Laws degree from a recognized university, and enrolled as an advocate under the Advocates Act, 1961.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 21 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 35 years as on 01-01-2025. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable per government rules.

Selection Process: The selection of the candidate will be done on the basis of total marks obtained in the main examination and interview.

Pay Scale: Pay Level-J-1

Application Fee: For applicants resident outside Chhattisgarh state, an application fee of Rs 400/- will be payable.
No examination fee will be charged to applicants who are local residents of Chhattisgarh state.
