BSF Recruitment 2025-26: 1121 Head Constable Vacancies

Border Security Force invites online applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of Head Constable (Radio Operator) and Head Constable (Radio Mechanic) posts in Group 'C' on a temporary basis, likely to be made permanent in Border Security Force (Comn Set-up) for the vacancy Year-2025.

Name of the Post and Number of Vacancies: Apprentices: 1121 Vacancies

Head Constable (Radio Operator): 910 Vacancies
Head Constable (Radio Mechanic): 211 Vacancies

Eligibility Criteria: Candidate must have passed in Intermediate or 12th standard or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised Board, or University or Institution as a regular student with aggregate 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Math subjects.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 15 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 25 years as on 23-09-2025. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates are selected based on PST & PET, Computer Based Test, followed by the Document Verification, Dictation Test and Paragraph Reading Test- for HC(RO) only and Detailed/ Review Medical Examination (DMR/RME)

Pay Scale: Pay Level 04

Application Fee: Rs. 100/-
Candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ BSF candidates are exempted from paying Application fees.
Candidates are suggested to pay the application fee through online mode.
