Banaras Hindu University invites online applications from candidates for the recruitment of Junior Clerk Posts.

Junior Clerk: 191 Vacancies

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must possess a Second Class Graduate Degree with at least six months of training on the use of Computer for Office Automation, Book keeping and word processing from a certified Institution or Second Class Graduate with Diploma in Computer recognized by AICTE.

Candidates must have typing speed of 30 words/ minute for English OR 25 words/ minute for Hindi is required to qualify the Computer Typing Test.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 30 years as on 17-04-2025. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable per government rules.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of a Written Test, a Computer Proficiency Test followed by a Skill Test. Short-listed candidates for each post will be called for verification of the original documents.

Pay Scale: Pay Level of 02 Rs.19,900 - 63,200/-

Application Fee: Rs.500/- for UR/ EWS/ OBC categories candidates
Candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ PwBD/ Women are exempted from submission of the application fee.
Candidates are suggested to pay the application fee online.
