UPSSSC Stenographer Recruitment 2024-25: 661 Vacancies

Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission, Lucknow invites online applications from eligible candidates Stenographers under the control of various departments.

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have passed the Intermediate examination of the Council of Secondary Education, Uttar Pradesh or any examination recognized equivalent to it by the Government.

Candidates are to have a minimum speed of 80 words per minute and 25 words per minute in Hindi shorthand and Hindi typing respectively.

Candidates must have passed the CCC course conducted by the DOEACC Society. Or must have passed the computer course conducted by the Council of Secondary Education, Uttar Pradesh, or a computer course recognized equivalent to it by the Government.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 40 years as on 01-07-2024. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on a written examination followed by the Hindi stenography and Hindi typing proficiency test that will be organized for the shortlisted candidates on the basis of written examination marks which will be of a qualifying nature.
