Telangana High Court Civil Judge Recruitment 2026 Notification

High Court for the State of Telangana, Hyderabad invites online applications from eligible candidates for Direct and recruitment by transfer in the cadre of Civil Judges (Junior Division) in the Telangana State Judicial Service, in terms of the Telangana State Judicial (Service and Cadre) Rules, 2023.

Name of the Post and Number of Vacancies:

Civil Judge: 94 Vacancies

Direct Recruitment: 66 Vacancies
Recruitment by Transfer: 28 Vacancies

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must posses a Degree in Law of a University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act or a State Act or an Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission and enrolled in the Bar Council as an Advocate.
AND
Candidates must have been practicing as an Advocate or Pleader in the High Court (High Court means, High Court for the State of Telangana) or Courts working under the control of the High Court (High Court means, High Court for the State of Telangana) for a period of not less than 3 years.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 23 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 35 years as on 01-12-2025. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Screening Test (Computer Based Test) for 100 marks, followed by the Viva-Voce of 30 marks.

The final selection of the candidates is based on the aggregate marks obtained in written examination (only Paper-I and II) and Viva Voce.

Pay Scale: Rs.77,840 - 1,36,520/-
