Job Description :

Rajasthan Agricultural Subordinate Service Rules-1978 as amended and Rajasthan Scheduled Area Subordinate, Ministerial and Class IV Services (Recruitment and other conditions of service) Rules, 2014 for the Department of Watershed Development and Soil Conservation under the Agriculture Department, invites online applications for the post of Junior Engineer in Agriculture.

Name of the Post and Number of Vacancies:
Junior Engineer (Agriculture): 115 Vacancies

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture Engineering from a recognized University/ Institution or a qualification declared equivalent by the Government.

Practical knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari script and knowledge of Rajasthani culture.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 40 years as on 01-01-2025. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of a Written exam total of 300 marks that will be in two parts,

Part A: Agricultural Engineering, and
Part B: General Knowledge (with special reference to the history, culture, traditions, and geography of Rajasthan)

There shall be a Negative marking for each wrong answer. 1/3 mark shall be deducted for each wrong answer.

Pay Scale: Pay Level of 10

Application Fee: Rs. 600/- for General (Unreserved)/ Creamy Layer of Backward Class/ Creamy Layer of Most Backward Class Candidates
Rs. 400/- for Reserved Category (SC/ ST/ Disabled/ Backward Class - Non-Creamy Layer/ Very Backward Class - Non-Creamy Layer/ EWS/ Sahriya Area) Candidates.
