Job Description :

Odisha Public Service Commission invites online applications from eligible candidates for the direct recruitment of SDIPRO (OIS- II), Group-B of Odisha Infomation Service cadre under the Infomation and Public Relations Department.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree with a year postgraduate Diploma in Journalism/ Mass Communication or a degree in Journalism/ Mass Communication and must have adequate knowledge in computer application.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 21 and must not have crossed the maximum age of 38 years as on 01-01-2024. Candidates must be born before 02 Jan 1986 and not later than 01 Jan 2003; both dates inclusive. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on written examination and viva voice test.

Written examination will be subjective type consisting of four papers each of 100 marks with 02 hours duration.
The Viva voice test will consist of 30 marks.

Place of examination: The written examination shall be held at Cuttack. It may also held at Bhubaneswar depending on the number of candidates from the respective zones.

Pay Scale: Rs. 44,900 to 1,42,400 in Level-10
