Odisha Hydro Power Corporation Limited (OHPC) is an ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certified Gold rated State Public Sector Undertaking (with installed capacity of 2099.80 MW) having 6 (six) power projects within the State and one inter-State power project. OHPC is also promoting investment in renewable energy projects and various green energy sources through GEDCOL (a wholly owned subsidiary of OHPC). The Company is also taking up new Hydro Power Projects on its own including the Pumped Storage Projects and Small Hydro Projects.

Odisha Hydro Power Corporation Ltd., invites online applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment as Technical Non- Executive (TNE) Trainees in their respective trade as follows for their placement in Units and Project Sites.

Electrical Trainee: 63 Vacancies

Store Keeper Trainee: 06 Vacancies

Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must have fulfilled the minimum eligibility criteria as required educational and professional qualification, experiences if any, and other important guidelines as suggested in the official advertisement to be eligible for consideration for said post.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 years (21 years for Store Keeper Trainee) and must not have crossed the maximum age of 32 years as on 01-08-2025. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Computer Based Test.

The written examination paper consists of 120 MCQs (120 marks). A negative mark of 0.25 will be deducted for every wrong answer. The exam would be 02 hours in duration.

Candidates qualifying in the written test (CBT) shall be shortlisted for Document verification at Bhubaneswar.

Training Period: 01 Year

Stipend: Rs.22,700/-

Application Fee: Rs. 500/- for UR/ SEBC category candidates
SC/ ST/ PwBD candidates of Odisha are exempted from the submission of application fee.
