Job Description :

Applications are invited from ITI-qualified Indian national candidates for Apprenticeship Training in the following designated trades for a period of one year at Naval Dockyard Apprentices School, Visakhapatnam, [DAS (Vzg)] for the Apprenticeship training batch 2025-26 in accordance with Apprentices Act 1961.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must have passed SSC/ Matric/ Std X with 50% of aggregate marks or ITI (NCVT/ SCVT) with 65% aggregate marks.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 14 years as on 31-12-2024. Candidates born on or before 02 May 2011 are eligible. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will be shortlisted for the Written Exam based on marks secured in SSC/ Matriculation and ITI.

Written Examination: OMR-based written examination comprises of 75 Multiple Choice Questions (Mathematics 30, General Science 30, General Knowledge 15) for a duration of one hour at DAS (Vzg) campus. There will be no negative marking for wrong answers.

Interview: Candidates in the order of merit of written examination would be called for interview.

Monthly Stipend: Rs.7700/- for One Year
Rs.8050/- for Two Year

Training Period: One Year

Commencement of Training: The training will start from 02 May 25
