Meghalaya Public Service Commission invites online applications from eligible candidates for the direct recruitment of various positions.

Stenographer Grade-III in the Meghalaya Secretariat: 17 Vacancies
Stenographer Grade-III under the Office of the Directorate of Sericulture & Weaving: 01 Vacancies
Stenographer Office of the Director General of Police, Meghalaya: 01 Vacancies
Stenographer Office of the Directorate of Economic & Statistics: 01 Vacancies
Stenographer in Directorate of Printing & Stationery: 01 Vacancies

Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must possess a Graduate Degree in Arts/ Science/ Commerce from any recognized University with minimum speed of 80 words per minute (W.P.M) in Shorthand.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 and must not have crossed the maximum age of 32 years of age as of 01-01-2024. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on a Stenography Test that will be Qualifying in nature. Dictation in English for 5 (Five) minutes at the rate of 80 W.P.M.

Only candidates who have qualified in the Stenography test will be called/ eligible for the Written examination.

Pay Scale: Pay Level of 08

Application Fee: Rs.350. Half rate of fees for SC/ ST candidates of Meghalaya State.
