Job Description :

Department of Virology, Regional Virus Research & Diagnostic Laboratory, invites applications from eligible candidates on a temporary contract basis for the ICMR-funded project titled, “Pan-India antigenic characterization of dengue viruses: Early warning signal for a potential pandemic” at NIV Kerala Unit through Walk-in Interview/written test at ICMR-National Institute of Virology, Makki Junction, Kuravanthodu, Alappuzha–688005, Kerala, India.

Place of interview: ICMR-National Institute of Virology, Makki Junction, Kuravanthodu, Alappuzha–688005, Kerala, India

Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must have passed 10th + Diploma (MLT/ DMLT or equivalent) + two Years experience in relevant subject/ field.
OR
Three years Graduate degree in MLT/ Microbiology + One year experience in a relevant subject.

Age Limit: Candidates must not have crossed the maximum age of 28 years. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of a written examination with minimum qualifying marks of 40% followed by the interview.

Emoluments: Rs.18,000 per month

How to Apply: Candidates must be present at the venue in time before 08.30 am along with a duly filled in and signed application form with their bio-data and all original documents along with one set of photocopies in proof of their educational qualification, experience, age, and identity,y etc.
