Job Description :

The Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Navaratna company and India’s leading professional electronics enterprise invites online applications from eligible candidates for direct recruitment for the position of Security Officer on a permanent basis.

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must possess a three-year bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institution for both positions.

Security Officer: Candidates must have held the rank of SSC Officer or Captain or an equivalent rank in the Indian Army, Navy, or Air Force. Alternatively, individuals who have served as Class I Gazetted Officers in Central Paramilitary Organizations (CAPF) are also eligible.

Assistant Security Officer: Candidates should have served in the Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) grade in the Army, Navy, Air Force, or Central Paramilitary Organizations (CAPF) at the time of leaving their service. This requirement reflects the need for practical, on-field experience in security operations, leadership, and strategic decision-making, gained during military service in a supervisory capacity.

Age Limit: Candidates must have not crossed the maximum age of 32 years for security officer and Candidates must have not crossed the maximum age of 40 years for Assistant Security Officer years as on 01-09-2024. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: The selection process will begin with a Written Test, carrying a total of 85 marks. Candidates who successfully clear the written examination will be shortlisted for the Interview, which will be evaluated for 15 marks. The combined performance in both stages will determine the final selection.

Note: All stages of the selection process, including the written test and interview, will be conducted exclusively at Bengaluru.

Remuneration:
Security Officer: Rs. 40,000/ - Rs. 1,40,000/-
Assistant Security Officer: Rs. 30,000/ - Rs. 1,20,000/-
