Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree from any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 21 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 38 years as on 01-01-2025. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of a Preliminary Examination (Objective Type) followed by the Main Examination (Written & Interview/ Personality Test).

Centers for Preliminary Examination: Amingaon, Barpeta, Bongaigaon, Biswanath Chariali, Dhemaji, Dhubri, Dibrugarh, Diphu, Goalpara, Golaghat, Guwahati, Haflong, Hailakandi, Hamren, Hatsingimari, Hojai, Jorhat, Kajalgaon, Kokrajhar, Majuli, Mangaldoi, Morigaon, Mushalpur, Nagaon, Nalbari, North Lakhimpur, Pathsala, Silchar, Sivasagar, Sonari, Sribhumi, Tamulpur, Tezpur, Tinsukia, and Udalguri.

The Combined Competitive (Main) Examination will be held in the Guwahati Centre only.

Pay Scale: Pay Level 04 Rs.30,000/ -1,10,000/ for Assam Civil Service, Assam Police Service, District Transport Officer, Superintendent of Excise, Assistant Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Assam Urban Administrative Service Posts.

Pay Level 03 Rs.22,000/- 97,000/- for Inspector of Labour, Inspector of Excise, Assistant Employment Officer, Sub-Registrar, Research Assistant Posts.

Application Fee: Rs. 297.20 for General category candidates
Rs. 197.20 for OBC/ MOBC category candidates
Rs. 47.20 for SC/ ST/ BPL/ PwBD/ Women candidates
