Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission invites online applications from eligible candidates for direct recruitment to the post of Assistant Public Prosecutor, Grade II in the Prosecution Department.

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must possess a B.L. degree from any University or Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission for the purpose of its grant. Candidate must be a member of the Bar and must have practice in Criminal Courts for a period of not less than 5 years. Candidate must possess adequate knowledge of Tamil.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 26 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 36 years as on 01-07-2024. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable per government rules.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of a Preliminary Exam, followed by the Main Exam (Written Examination and Interview).

Scale of Pay: Level 22 (CPS)
