The Central Council for Research in Unani Medicine (CCRUM), New Delhi is an Autonomous body under the Ministry of Ayush. The Council carries out its activities and functions through its network of 24 Institutes/Centers across the country. There is an attractive performance-based time bound in-situ promotion scheme for "Group-A" Medical Doctors and Non-Medical Scientists of this Council besides vacancy-based promotions. Other Group "B" and "C" Officers/Officials are also entitled for vacancy-based promotions and MACP benefits.

Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must have fulfilled the minimum eligibility criteria as required educational and professional qualifications, experience if any, and other important guidelines as suggested in the official advertisement to be eligible for consideration for said post.

Upper Age Limit: Candidates must not have crossed the maximum age of 40 years for Group A posts.
Candidates must not have crossed the maximum age of 30 years for Assistant Research Officer, Accounts Officer, Research Assistant, Investigator, Proof Reader, Hindi Assistant, and 35 years for Staff Nurse, Medical Laboratory Technologist posts.
Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 25 years as on 13-07-2026. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process:

For Group A Posts: Candidates will be selected on the basis of an online Computer-Based Test Examination followed by an Interview.

For Group B and C Posts: Candidates will be selected on the basis of an online Computer-Based Test Examination followed by a Skill Test.

Location for Computer-Based Test: New Delhi/Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Guwahati.

Rs.1500 for Group B Posts
Rs.1300 for Group C Posts
SC/ ST/ PWBD/ EWS/ Ex-Servicemen/ Women candidates are exempted from paying application fees.
