U.T. Administration of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu, invites online applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of Teacher positions.

Primary School Teacher: 119 Vacancies

Eligibility Criteria:

Primary School Teacher Post: Senior Secondary (Class XII pass) with at least 50% marks and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education
OR
Senior Secondary (Class XII pass) with at least 45% marks and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations 2002.
OR
Senior Secondary (Class XII pass) with at least 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
OR
Senior Secondary (Class XII pass) with at least 50% marks and 2 years Diploma in Education (Special Education).
OR
Graduation Diploma in and 2 years Elementary Education.

b) Should have passed CTET or Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) applicable for the post of Primary School Teacher conducted by the Central Govt. or any State Government in India in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.
c) The Candidate should have studied in the concerned medium at Secondary level.

Upper Primary School Teacher Post: Candidates must possess a Graduation and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education
OR
At least 50% marks either in Graduation or in Graduation and B.Ed. Post
OR
Graduation with at least 45% marks and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with the NCTE Regulations issued from time to time in this regards.
OR
Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor in Elementary (B.El.Ed.) Education.
OR
Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and 4 years B.A.Ed./ B.Sc.Ed./ B.Com.Ed.
OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and B.Ed.

b) The candidate should have passed CTET or Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) applicable for the post of Upper Primary School Teacher conducted by the Central Government or any State Government in India in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.
Provided that the minimum percentage of marks in be graduation shall not be applicable to those incumbents who had already taken admission to the Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Elementary Education or equivalent course prior to the 29th July, 2011.

c) The Candidate should have studied in the concerned medium at the Secondary level. (Not Applicable for language subjects such as Gujarati, Marathi, Hindi, English, etc.)

Upper Age Limit: Candidates must not have crossed the maximum age of 30 years as on 01-01-2026. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Computer Based Test.

The written examination paper consists of 100 MCQs (100 marks). A negative mark of 0.25 will be deducted for every wrong answer.

Pay Scale: Pay Level of 06

Application Fee: Rs.100/- for SC/ ST/ PwBD/ Women candidates
Rs. 200/- for all other category candidates
