The Staff Selection Commission invites online applications from eligible candidates for the direct recruitment of Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs); Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), and Secretariat Security Force (SSF) and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles.

Eligibility Criteria: The candidates must have passed the Matriculation or 10th Class Examination from a recognized Board/ University as on or before the cut-off date i.e., 01-01-2026.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 23 years as of 01-01-2026. Candidates born not before 02-01-2003 and not later than 01-01-2008 are eligible to apply. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on Computer-Based Examination (CBE), Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Medical Examination (DME/ RME), and Document Verification.

Pay Scale: Pay Level – 3 (₹21,700/- to ₹ 69,100/-)

Application Fee: Rs. 100/-
SC/ ST/ Ex-Servicemen (ESM) and Women candidates are exempted from payment of the application fee.
