  Job Description :

  Staff Selection Commission (SSC), invites applications from eligible candidates for the SSC CHSL 2025 to recruit candidates for various positions like Lower Division Clerk, Junior Secretariat Assistant, Postal Assistant, and Data Entry Operator.

  Important Dates:
  Commencement of Online Application: 23-06-2025
  Last Date of Online Application: 18-07-2025
  Schedule of Tier-I (Computer Based Examination): 08-09-2025 to 18-09-2025
  Schedule of Tier-II (Computer Based Examination): February-March 2026

  Name of the Post and Number of Vacancies Advertised: 3131 Vacancies

  Lower Divisional Clerk/ Junior Secretariat Assistant
  Data Entry Operators

  Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have passed the 12th standard (or equivalent) examination from a recognized board.

  Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 27 years as on 01-01-2026. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

  Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Tier-I Examination, Tier-II Examination, Skill Test for Data Entry Operator, and Typing Test for other posts.

  Pay Scale: Pay Level-2 for Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/ Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA)
  Pay Level-4 for Data Entry Operator (DEO)

  Application fee: Rs.100/- for General/ OBC/ EWS Category Candidates
  SC/ ST/ PwBD/ Women/ Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted from submission of application fee.
  Candidates are suggested to pay the application fee online.
