Punjab State Transmission Corporation Limited, invites online applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of various positions.

Name of the Post and Number of Vacancies: 147 Vacancies

Assistant Lineman: 129 Vacancies
Assistant Sub-Station Attendant: 03 Vacancies
Electrician: 15 Vacancies

Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must have fulfilled the minimum eligibility criteria as required educational and professional qualification, experiences if any, and other important guidelines as suggested in the official advertisement to be eligible for consideration for said post.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 37 years as on 01-01-2025. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will have to appear for the Punjabi Language Test. The Qualified candidates on the basis of the Punjabi Language Test will be allowed to appear on Part II (Written exam) of the selection process.

The written examination paper consists of 100 MCQs (100 marks). A negative mark of 0.25 will be deducted for every wrong answer. The exam would be 03 hours in duration.

The minimum qualifying marks in Part II of the online Computer-Based Test (CBT) for General Category is 50% and for Reserve category candidates is 40%.

Pay Scale: Rs.19,900/-

Application Fee: Rs. 885 for SC/ ST/ PwBD candidates
Rs. 1416 for all other category candidates
