Job Description :

NewSpace India limited (NSIL), a Government of India company under Department of Space (DOS), has been incorporated in March 2019 with a vision to excel in providing space related products and services and to spur the growth of Indian Industry in undertaking technologically challenging space related activities.

NewSpace India limited (NSIL), invites online applications from eligible candidates for the engagement on Fixed Tenure Basis through walk-in selection for the various posts.

Eligibility Criteria:

Project Scientist Posts: The candidate must possess a Doctoral Degree in Science (Agriculture, Environmental, Geospatial) or Masters Degree in Engineering or Technology (Remote Sensing/ GIS/ Geoinformatics/ Agricultural Engineering/ Civil Engineering or equivalent) from a recognized university.

Project Engineer Posts: The candidate must possess a Bachelor Degree in B. Tech or BE in Electronics/ Electronics & Communication/ Electrical & Electronics/ Electronics & Instrumentation/ Mechanical/ Aerospace With one year working experience in Test & Evaluation/ QA activities of Avionic packages/ QA activities of Launch Vehicle Mechanical Systems.

Project Assistant Posts: The candidates must have completed a Diploma in Electronics/ Electronics & Communication/ Electrical & Electronics/ Electronics & Instrumentation/Mechanical With one year working experience in Test & Evaluation/ QA activities of Avionic packages/ QA activities of Launch Vehicle Mechanical Systems.

Upper Age Limit: Candidates must not have crossed the maximum age of 40 years for Project Scientist, and 35 years for Project Engineer, and Project Assistan posts as of 30-11-2025. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable per government rules.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on the performance of the candidates in the Interview in the order of merit.

Period of contract: Six months for Project Scientist, which is likely to be extended upto a maximum of Two years (including initial period) and for Project Engineer and Project Assistant, the period of contract would be one year.

Emoluments: Rs.72,800 per month for Project Scientist Posts
Rs.60,000 per month for Project Engineers Posts
Rs.30,000 per month for Project Assistant Posts

Application Fee: Rs.250 is to be paid by the candidates through Demand Draft in favour of NewSpace India limited (NSIL) drawn at Bangalore.
SC/ ST/ PwBD/ Ex- SM are exempted from payment of application fee.
