Eligibility Criteria:

Stipendiary Trainees Technician (ST/TN) Plant Operator: Candidate must have passed in HSC (12th Std) with not less than 40% marks in aggregate in Science stream (with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects) with English as one of the subjects at least at SSC level examination.

Stipendiary Trainees Technician (ST/TN) (Other than Plant Operator): Candidates must have passed SSC with Science and Mathematics and English as one of the subjects at SSC level examination with 2 years ITI.
Wherever for trades for which the ITI course is less than 2 years, 1 year experience in the relevant area after completion of the course shall be insisted.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 24 years as on 29-06-2026. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per central government rules.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on three stages

Stage-1- Online Examination – Preliminary Test for 150 marks
It will be a screening examination to shortlist candidates and all disciplines will have common question paper format.

Stage-2- Online Examination – Advanced Test for 150 marks
The responses of Stage 2: Advanced Test by candidate will be considered for evaluation only if candidate qualifies in Stage 1: Preliminary Test of the online examination

Stage 3- Document Verification
Based upon the merit list prepared after Stage-2: Advanced Test, candidates will be shortlisted for Document Verification in each discipline.

Pay Scale: Pay Level-03

SC, ST, PwBD, Ex-serviceman, DODPKIA, Female applicants and employees of NPCIL are exempted from the payment of Application Fee.
