NTPC Mining Ltd. invites online applications from qualified persons in Coal Mining on a fixed-term basis in the trades of Mining Overman, Magazine in-charge, Mechanical Supervisor, Electrical Supervisor, Vocational Training Instructor, Junior Mine Surveyor, and Mining Sirdar posts.

Eligibility Criteria:

Magazine Incharge: Full-time regular Diploma in Mining Engineering with at least 60% marks from State Technical Board or recognized Institute.

Mechanical Supervisor: Full-time regular Diploma in Mechanical/Production Engineering with at least 60% marks from State Technical Board or recognized Institute.

Electrical Supervisor: Full-time regular Diploma in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering with at least 60% marks from State Technical Board or recognized Institute.

Vocational Training Instructor: Full-time regular Diploma in Mining/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with at least 60% marks from State Technical Board or recognized Institute. Valid first aid certificate issued by Institutes recognized by DGMS.

Junior Mine Surveyor: Full-time regular Diploma in Mine Survey/ Mining /Civil Engineering with at least 60% marks from State Technical Board or recognized Institute.

Mining Sirdar: Matric / 10th pass from Government recognized board, with valid mining Sirdar's certificate of competency issued by DGMS for coal and valid first aid certificate issued by Institutes recognized by DGMS.

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years as of 31-12-2023. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Remuneration: INR 50,000/- per month

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on performance in a written test followed by a skill test. The CBT test shall be conducted at test centers in Ranchi, Jharkhand, Bhubaneswar, and Odisha.

The Computer-based test (CBT) consists of 120 questions, 40 questions from General Knowledge, Quantitive Aptitude, Reasoning, and 80 questions from Trade/Discipline.

The final merit list will be prepared based on the marks of the CBT test, for those candidates who qualify in the skill test.

Application Fee: Rs. 300/- for General/OBC/EWS
All belonging to SC/ST/XSM category/third gender/female candidates are exempted from payment of the application fee. Candidates are suggested to pay the application fee through online mode.
