Intelligence Bureau, Ministry of Affairs, invites online applications from eligible candidates for the direct recruitment of Multi-Tasking Staff (General) in the Intelligence Bureau, (Ministry of Home Affairs), Government of India.

Eligibility Criteria: The candidates must have passed the 10th pass (Matriculation) or equivalent qualification from a recognized board.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 25 years as on 14-12-2025. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: The selection of candidates shall be based on a Written Examination in Two Tier.

Tier-I: Objective MCQ Online Exam (General Awareness of 40 marks, Quantitative Aptitude of 20 marks, Reasoning of 20 marks, English of 20 marks; 100 marks)
The cut off marks (out of 100) in Tier-1 exam would be UR-30, OBC-28, SC/ ST-25 and EWS-30
Tier-II: Descriptive Test (English, Paragraph Writing, Vocabulary, Grammar; 50 marks)
Final merit list would be prepared on the basis of performance in Tier-I exam, provided the candidate is qualified in Tier-II exam.

Pay Scale: Pay Band Level - 01

Application fee: Rs.550/- for all other candidates
Rs.650/- for Male candidates of UR, EWS, and OBC categories
SC/ ST/ EWS/ PwBD category candidates are exempted from paying the examination fee.
Candidates are suggested to pay the application fee online.
