Indian Army invites online applications from eligible unmarried Male Engineering Graduates for 144th Technical Graduate Course (TGC-144) commencing in Jan 2027 at Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun for Permanent Commission in the Indian Army.

Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must possess a bachelor degree in BE/ B.Tech/ M.Sc Computer Science engineering streams.

Candidates who are currently in the final year of their Engineering degree program and have not yet passed the final year examination are also eligible to apply. However, they must submit valid proof of having passed the Engineering Degree Examination by 01 January 2027 to TGC Entry, West Block III, R.K. Puram, New Delhi – 110066.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 20 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 27 years as on 01-01-2027. Candidates must not be born before 01 Jan 2000 and not after 01 Jan 2007 (both days inclusive). However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Integrated HQ of MoD (Army) reserves the right to shortlist applications and to fix the cutoff percentage of marks obtained in graduation based on a number of applications received and vacancies for each Engineering discipline/ stream without assigning any reason.

Only shortlisted eligible candidates, depending on the cut-off percentage, will be interviewed at one of the Selection Centres viz. Allahabad (UP), Bhopal (MP), Bengaluru (Karnataka), and Jalandhar Cantt (Punjab) by Psychologist, Group Testing Officer and Interviewing Officer.

Stipend: Rs.56,400/- per month

Training: Total training will be of 12 Months
