  Job Description :

  

  Applications are invited from eligible unmarried Male and unmarried Female Engineering Graduates and also from Widows of Indian Armed Forces Defence Personnel who died in harness for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in the Indian Army. The course will commence in OCT 2025 at the Pre-Commissioning Training Academy (PCTA).

  Eligibility Criteria:

  SSCW (Non-Tech) (Non-UPSC): Candidates must possess a graduation degree in any discipline.

  SSCW (Tech): Candidates must possess a B.E./ B. Tech degree in any Engineering stream.

  Age Limit:

  For SSC(Tech)- 65 Men and SSCW(Tech)- 36 Women: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 20 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 27 years as on 01-10-2025.

  For Widows of Indian Armed Forces Defence Personnel who Died in Harness Only: Candidates not have crossed the maximum age of 35 years as on 01-10-2025. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

  Selection Process: Integrated HQ of MoD (Army) reserves the right to shortlist applications and to fix the cutoff percentage of marks obtained in graduation based on a number of applications received and vacancies for each Engineering discipline/ stream without assigning any reason.

  Only shortlisted eligible candidates depending on the cut-off percentage will be interviewed at one of the Selection Centres viz. Allahabad (UP), Bhopal (MP), Bengaluru (Karnataka), and Jalandhar Cantt (Punjab) by Psychologist, Group Testing Officer and Interviewing Officer.

  Stipend: Rs.56,100/- Per month
