Gas Turbine Research Establishment (GTRE), Bengaluru  is one of the premier R&D Establishments set up under the Defence R&D Organization, Ministry of Defence, Government of India.

Gas Turbine Research Establishment (GTRE) invites online applications from eligible candidates for walk-in-interview for One Year Apprentice Training as per the following details under the provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961.

Apprentices: 150 Vacancies

Graduate Apprentices (Engineering): 75 Vacancies
Graduate Apprentices (Non-Engineering): 30 Vacancies
Diploma Apprentices: 20 Vacancies
ITI Apprentice: 25 Vacancies

Eligibility Criteria:

Graduate Engineering: The candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology granted by a statutory university or by an institution empowered to grant such degree by an Act of Parliament.

Diploma (Engineering): The candidate must possess a Diploma in Engineering or Technology or equivalent qualification granted by a State Board of Technical Education or recognized by the State Government concerned or the Central Government.

ITI Trades: Candidates must have passed the ITI with valid certificate issued by National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) in the respective trade.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 years as on 06-06-2026. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.
    
Selection Process: Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of academic merit/ written test/ interview.

Stipend: As per the norms of Government of India
