DRDO CEPTAM 11 Recruitment 2026: 764 Technical Assistant, Technician Vacancies

Center for Personnel Talent Management (CEPTAM), DRDO invites online applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of Senior Technical Assistant-B and Technician –A  positions.

Eligibility Criteria:

Senior Technical Assistant Posts: The candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Science Or Diploma in Engineering or Technology or Computer Science or Allied Subjects, recognised by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), in the required Discipline.

Technician Posts: Candidates must have a 10th Class pass or equivalent from a recognised Board or Institute
And
Certificate from a recognised Industrial Training Institute in the required discipline
Or
Certificate of minimum one year duration from a recognised Institution in the required discipline if the Industrial Training Institutes do not award Certificate in that discipline
Or
National Trade Certificate in the required discipline, Or National Apprenticeship Certificate in the required discipline.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 28 years. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable per government rules.

Selection Process: 
Senior Technical Assistant Posts:
Candidates will have to appear in Tier-1 exam, CBT of 120 Marks, that is qualifying. The minimum qualifying marks for Tier-1 exam is 40% for Unreserved and OBC category candidates and 35% for SC/ ST category candidates. 

Shortlisted candidates on the basis of Tier-1 exam, will have to appear in Tier-2 exam of 100 marks, that is specific to the subject/ discipline.

Technician Posts:
Candidates will have to appear in Tier-1 exam, CBT of 120 Marks, that is a qualifying. The minimum qualifying marks for Tier-1 exam is 40% for Unreserved and OBC category candidates and 35% for SC/ ST category candidates. 

Shortlisted candidates on the basis of Tier-1 exam, will have to appear in Tier-2 exam, which is specific to the tradethe  candidate applied for.

Pay Scale: Pay Level of 06 for Senior Technical Assistant Posts
Pay Level of 02 for Technician Posts
