Job Description :

CSIR-National Metallurgical Laboratory (NML), a constituent Laboratory of the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), which is an Autonomous Body under the Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India, is an R&D organization dedicated to metallurgical and materials engineering research. With its modern and extensive infrastructure and the large spectrum of expertise of its Scientific and Technical manpower, CSIR-NML is primarily engaged in industrially and socially significant research pursuits aligned with the national interest and demonstration of high-quality science.

Eligibility Criteria:

For Post Code M 01: Candidates must have passed 10th/ Matriculation or its equivalent pass for

For Post Code M 02 - 07: Candidates must have passed ITI in Electrician/ Carpenter/ Fitter/ Plumber/ AC & Refrigeration/ COPA Trade.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 25 years as on 06-02-2026. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of a Competitive Written Examination. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the performance of the candidates in the competitive written examination.

Pay Scale: Pay Level 01

SC/ ST/ PwBD/ Women/ CSIR Employees are exempted from the submission of the application fee.
