The CSIR- Central Leather Research Institute, Chennai is a premier constituent establishment of the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), which is an Autonomous Body under the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India. The CSIR-Central Leather Research Institute [CLRI], Chennai was established in the year 1948 with headquarters at Chennai.

CSIR- Central Leather Research Institute invites online applications from eligible candidates for the direct recruitment of Research/ S&T Management as a career in the field of Leather/ Chemicals to fill up the vacancy of Scientists.

Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must have fulfilled the minimum eligibility criteria as required educational and professional qualification, experiences if any, and other important guidelines as suggested in the official advertisement to be eligible for consideration for said post.

Upper Age Limit: Candidates must not have crossed the maximum age of 32 years as on 19-01-2025. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: The candidates Will be selected on the basis of the Witten Test/ Seminar followed by the Interview.

Pay Scale: Pay Level 11
