Job Description :

Central Industrial Security Force invites online applications from eligible candidates for the direct recruitment for the post of Constables/ Driver and Constables/ Driver-Cum-Pump-Operator (Driver for Fire Services) in Central Industrial Security Force.

Name of the Post and Number of Vacancies:

Constable/Driver – Direct: 845 Vacancies
Constable/(Driver -Cum -Pump -Operator) – Direct: 279 Vacancies

Important Dates:
Commencement of Online Application: 03-02-2025
Last Date of Online Application: 04-03-2025

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have passed Matriculation or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board.

Educational certificates other than State Board/ Central Board should be accompanied by a Government of India notification declaring that such qualification is equivalent to Matriculation/ 10th class pass for service under the Central Government.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 21 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 27 years as on 04-03-2025. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process:

Height Bar Test (HBT): All the candidates whose applications are provisionally accepted and found to be in order will assigned Roll Number and called for 1st stage of recruitment i.e. PET/ PST, Documentation & Trade Test which will be conducted at various centers.

Physical Efficiency Test: Candidates who qualify for the Height Bar Test (HBT) and Physical Standard Test (PST) will be put through the following Physical Efficiency Test (PET) which will be qualifying in nature.

Trade Test: Those who qualify in the Physical Efficiency Test, Physical Standard Test, and Document verification will be put on the Trade tests.

Pay Scale: Pay Level-3

Application Fee: Rs. 100 for UR/ EWS/ OBC category candidates
SC/ ST/ ESM categories candidates are exempted from submission of application fee.
