Professor: 88 Vacancies
Associate Professor: 19 Vacancies

Eligibility Criteria:
Professor Posts: Candidates must possess a Doctoral degree in a relevant subject including relevant basic sciences.

10 years experience in the relevant subject out of which 8 years should be as a Scientist/ Lecturer/ Extension Specialist or in an equivalent position.

The candidate should have made contribution to Research/ Teaching/ Extension Education as evidenced by a minimum of 10 publications with high NAAS Impact Factor and innovations/ technologies published.

Associate Professor Posts: Candidates must possess a Doctoral degree in a relevant subject including relevant basic sciences

8 years experience in the relevant subject as a Scientist/ Lecturer/ Extension Specialist or in an equivalent position

The candidate should have made a contribution to Research/ Teaching/ Extension Education as evidenced by a minimum of 5 publications with a high NAAS Impact Factor and innovations/ technologies published.

Desirable Eligibility Criteria for Professor and Associate Professor:
i. Adequate experience teaching and guiding post-graduate students.
ii. Familiarity with modern tools and applications in scientific technologies in the field.

Upper Age Limit: Candidates must not have crossed the maximum age of 65 years. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.
 
Selection Process: Candidates will be shortlisted based on their academic and career performance and after that, candidates will be called for an interview. 

Pay Scale: Professor: Academic Level 14 (Rs.1,44,200/-)
Associate Professor: Academic Level 13A (Rs.1,31,400/-)

Application Fee: Rs.1000/- for UR/OBC category candidates
SC/ ST/ PwBD and Women candidates are exempted from payment of the application fee.
Candidates are suggested to pay the application fee online.
