Job Description :

Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), is a Scientific Society of the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India. C-DAC has emerged as a premier R&D organization in ITC&E (Information Technologies, Communication, and Electronics) in the country working on strengthening national technological capabilities in the context of global developments in the field and responding to change in the social need in selected areas.

C-DAC invites online applications from eligible candidates for direct recruitment to the post of Scientist across its centre on deputation, initially for a period of 3 years, from S&T officers of the Central Government/ State Government/ PSUs/ Autonomous Bodies.

Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must possess a first-class B.E./ B.Tech/ MCA or equivalent degree in the relevant discipline
OR
Postgraduate in Engineering/ Technology in a relevant discipline
OR
First Class Postgraduate Degree in a relevant discipline
OR
Ph.D in relevant discipline.

Age Limit: Candidates must not have crossed the maximum age of 56 years as on 23-06-2025. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Tests, Interviews, and Group Discussions.

Contract Period: 03 years

Posting Centre: Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mohali, Mumbai, Pune, TVM, Noida

Pay Scale: Level 12 (78800 - 209200) for Scientist D
Level 13 (123100 - 215900) for Scientist E
Level 13A (131100 - 216600) for Scientist F

Application Fee: Rs.1000/-
Candidates belonging to the ST/ SC/ PWD category and Female applicants are exempted from payment of any application fees.
