Job Description :

Army Ordnance Corps Centre invites online applications from eligible candidates for filling up the defence civilian posts at various units/ depots in Gthe overnment of India, Ministry of Defence.

All posts/ vacancies have All India Service Liability and candidates selected will be under a probationary period of two years.

Material Assistant (MA): 19 Vacancies
Junior Office Assistant (JOA): 27 Vacancies
Civil Motor Driver (OG): 04 Vacancies
Tele Operator Grade-II: 14 Vacancies
Fireman: 247 Vacancies
Carpenter & Joiner: 07 Vacancies
Painter & Decorator: 05 Vacancies
MTS: 11 Vacancies
Tradesman Mate: 389 Vacancies

Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must have fulfilled the minimum eligibility criteria as required educational and professional qualification, experiences if any, and other important guidelines as suggested in the official advertisement to be eligible for consideration for said post.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 25 years (27 years for Material Assistant, Civil Motor Driver) as on 01-01-24. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process:
Junior Office Assistant (JOA) Posts: Candidates will be selected on the basis of the Typing Proficiency Test: 35 Words Per minute in English (or) 30 Words Per minute in Hindi on the computer followed by a Written Exam.

Civil Motor Driver (OG) Posts: Driving Test and Verbal questioning about the internal functioning of heavy and light vehicles followed by Written Exam.

Carpenter & Joiner Posts: Making furniture (wooden items) with proper finishing and Verbal questioning about types of wood, furniture and all other pertains to it followed by a Written Exam.

Fireman and Tradesman Mate Posts: Candidates will be selected based on the Physical Endurance Test followed by a Written Exam.

Candidates will be selected on the basis of a Written Exam for all other posts.

Scale of Pay: Pay Level 05 for Material Assistant (MA) posts
Pay Level 01 for MTS and Tradesman Mate Posts
Pay Level 02 for all other posts
