Job Description

The Wildlife Institute of India (WII), Dehradun, is a premier institute working towards strengthening wildlife conservation and management in India through training, education, research and advisory services.

WII invites applications from eligible candidates in the prescribed format for the various posts.

Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must have fulfilled the minimum eligibility criteria as required educational and professional qualification, experiences if any, and other important guidelines as suggested in the official advertisement to be eligible for consideration for said post.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 and must not have crossed the maximum age of 28 years (27 Years for Junior Stenographer, Assistant Grade-III, Driver, cook post) as on 06-01-2025. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of a Written Examination and skill/ Trade Test.

Pay Scale: Level-6 for Technical Assistant
Level-2 for Technician, Assistant Grade-III, Driver, Cook 
Level-4 for Junior Stenographer
Level-1 for Lab. Attendant

Application Fee: Rs.700 for Gen/ OBC/ EWS male candidates
SC/ ST/ PwBD/ Women candidates are exempted from the application fee.
Candidates are suggested to pay the application fee online.
