The Wildlife Crime Control Bureau (WCCB) under the Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change, Government of India, is a body established under Section 38 (Y) of the Wild Life Protection Act, 1972, for combating organized wildlife crime in the country.

The Wildlife Crime Control Bureau invites applications from eligible officers/officials of the Central Government, State Governments, and Union Territories for the various posts on a deputation basis.

Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must have fulfilled the minimum eligibility criteria as required educational and professional qualification, experiences if any, and other important guidelines as suggested in the official advertisement to be eligible for consideration for said post.

Upper Age Limit: Candidates must not have crossed the maximum age of 56 years as on 10-06-2026. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Pay Scale: Pay Level 06 for Stenographer Posts
Pay Level 04 for Head Constable/ Forest Guards, Upper Division Clerk, and Stenographer Posts
Pay Level 03 for Public Prosecutor Posts
