Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission invites online applications from eligible candidates for the direct recruitment of Assistant Teacher (LT) (Special Education Teacher) in the Garhwal Division and Kumaon Division under the Secondary Education Department, Uttarakhand.

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must possess a B.Ed. degree in Special Education from any University or Institute established by law in India which is approved by the Rehabilitation Council of India and has been allotted a valid RCI/CRR number. Candidates must possess Six months Diploma/Training in Cross Disability Area in Inclusive Education.

Candidate must have passed the UTET-2/CTET-2 examination for appointment/selection to the post of Special Education Teacher.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 21 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 42 years as on 01-07-2025. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of written competitive examination of 100-marks.

Pay Scale: Pay Level 07

Application Fee: Rs.300 for UR/ OBC category candidates of Uttarakhand State
Rs.150 for SC/ ST/ EWS/ Divyang candidates of Uttarakhand State
